Strategic Objectives

There is a dire need in South and Southern Africa, and the whole continent for that matter to establish a viable and sustainable form of agriculture that can withstand the elements that have not been conducive to farming. The objective is to introduce a well-proven product / system onto the local market and to effectively provide cost effective and viable solutions to the food and poverty problem, which is endemic to Africa.

With regard to agriculture, conditions and history are against us.

  • Erratic, usually low rainfall
  • Low ground-water resources & Low grade soils
  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Traditionally subsistence farming practices (lack of expertise)
  • Labour or capital intensive operations, with marginal yields

This resulted in:

  • Few commercial operations
  • Low employment rate in this sector
  • Hardship in communities, and dependence on outside assistance
  • Inefficient use of resources
  • Use of budgets that could have been used better.
